Autism Collection
The Autism Collection at Brock aims to collect the day-to-day records of people living or working with ASD in order to preserve the wide-ranging history of autism in North America. The collection focuses on five key areas: 1) individuals with autism or their caregivers; 2) advocacy work; 3) education, training and technology; 4) autism in popular culture; and 5) scientific research.
This transdisciplinary archive can be of interest and hold research value for a wide range of faculties, departments, and disciplines because autism affects all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic groups, and is studied from various angles, including genetics, education, nutrition, social justice, and politics.
