Through the Windshield
All of Jimmy's 1946 photos were taken through the windshield of a 1937 Hudson Terraplane on a very cold Sunday, January 20 traveling from the farm in Louth to Audrey's home in Thorold South. These were placed in an album and captioned by Jimmy.
Below are two photos from the car window at St. Paul Street and Queenston Street and Niagara at Geneva this year. MacQuillen Drugs, Lowden and Sons Meats, Devors Furniture, The Imperial Bank of Canada, and Atlas Tires are all visible in this photograph. The overhead lines and tracks for the Niagara, St. Catharines and Toronto electric railway are also evident in this photo.
