Port Robinson Disaster

 

Jimmy continued to take wonderful photographs throughout his life. Here, he documented an accident at Port Robinson in 1974.

 

A freighter rammed into the Port Robinson lift bridge on August 25, 1974. The 600 foot ore carrier "Steelton" did quite a bit of damage. Fortunately, nobody died although there were minor injuries.
