Conclusion

Jimmy and Audrey

A special thanks to Orville (Jimmy) Manson who documented his navy experiences in World War II,  Niagara's local scenery, and his everyday life. In today's world of cellphones, this doesn't seem like much of a feat.  But when Jimmy was documenting his life, photography was much more complex than it is today and cameras were fairly cumbersome.

Here are a few photos of Jimmy's everyday life. This is a testament to the fact that Jimmy always seemed to have his camera with him. He captured life in all its forms, from the mundane to the exciting and from the minute to the spectacular.

Brock University Archives is the home to Jimmy's slides, photographs and film.
