The 'Bothy'

Bothy definitions: a small hut or cottage or an apprentice residence.

The Parks Commission owned a house at the Niagara Glen. This was a colonial farmhouse known as the Murray House. Wings of identical stone were added to the original building. The stone addition to the Murray house was added in 1938-39 and was used as a dormitory for the students.
