Conclusion

"If the planet Earth could talk, it would say 'thank you' to a relatively small number of students who are making a major contribution to the beauty of the world."

This is a quote from botanist John Pierce in regard to the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.

The Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture is expanding its programs. Apart from the three year Professional Horticulture diploma, the school plans to offer a two year Horticulture Technician Diploma and a one year Leader in Professional Horticulture Certificate.

Graduates from the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture are highly respected and sought-after. Their work ethic and dedication are obvious in the gardens which they create. Gardening is a combination of art, knowledge, and labour.  The Niagara Parks School of Hortculture has a proud history and its impact is worldwide. Niagara owes a debt of gratitude to Mr. McQuesten, Mr. Broman and the students and teachers who have created and maintained the gardens and cared for the parks over the years.
