The Bell family consisted of Charles Henry Bell, son of Stephen and Susan Bell, and his wife Mary Tyrrell, daughter of Lewis and Alice Tyrrell. Charles Henry Bell and Mary Tyrrell were married by the Rev. Thomas Bone in St. Catharines on 9 August 1894.
The family had eight children: Delbert Otto, Edna Beatrice, Lewis Tyrrell, Gertrude, Bessie Jane, Charles Henry, Richard Nelson, and William Willoughby.
The Bell family was living in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1895 and 1897 when Delbert and Edna were born. But by 1899, the family had returned to St. Catharines.
Son Richard Nelson is the father of our donor, Rick Bell. He married Iris Sloman on 22 May 1938.
These photographs represent some of the family and their memories.
