The Bee was a newspaper published in Niagara (Niagara-on-the-Lake). This October 24, 1812 issue is one of two known surviving issues of this title. The paper reports on the Battle of Queenston Heights and the death of Isaac Brock, the release of American prisoners captured at Queenston, news of the British Navy, the security of Canadian properties in wartime, American ships leaving Britian with licenses, and an announcement asking citizens for the return of muskets recovered from the battle at Queenston.
