Select works from the Brock University Art Collection, September 1 - October 11, 2025

Intentional Futures represents a carefully selected group of artworks from the Brock University Art Collection, many of which are being exhibited at the University for the first time.

This exhibition poses thoughtful questions concerning representation, identity and land, while the curatorial approach encourages deeper engagement with the collection’s evolving narrative and cultural significance.

Questions placed throughout the exhibition are designed to foster dialogue and reflection, inviting viewers to actively contribute their insights. These responses will help identify gaps in representation and perspectives that are missing from the collection.

Looking forward, our intention is to guide future acquisitions in ways that address these lapses in representation with care and integrity – ensuring that the Brock University Art Collection becomes a more inclusive, representative, and resonant collection for present and future generations.
