Give us a moment is a collection of works by multiple artists that come together to constellate themes of memory, time, and the etched traces of daily life. These traces and moments of time are captured through iterations of the photograph ––  old, new, experimental –– polaroid emulsions, silver gelatin prints, pigment prints, digital prints, found antique family photographs, as well as cyanotype sculptures. Each image and each etched moment of time is imbued with deep personal meaning, lived experiences, and mappings of historical narratives. A close looking reveals a collective exercise in remembering; one that invites reflection, stillness, and an opportunity to embody the passage of time. Together, uniquely, the works across this exhibition invite a moment of pause – to look, to see, to remember – to stay a little longer, in the moment.
