Robert Houston
Robert Houston was a lock tender in Port Dalhousie. He had been born in Kingston and the family may have resided Hamilton, Ontario at one time.
Robert Houston died 6 November 1889 at the age of 46. A George Houston is listed as the informant on the death certificate. This may have been his nephew, son of Samuel Houston and Margaret Mable Rady. Samuel Houston was a hotel keeper also living in Port Dalhousie.
It is likely that Robert Houston is buried with other Houston family members in the St. Johns Church Cemetery in Port Dalhousie.
