Abstract
Mr. Patterson was born in Dunbar Scotland in 1830. On 24 August 1857 he married Agnes Paxton. Mr. Patterson was a flour mill operator in Port Dalhouse, and also acted as the local justice of the peace. In his later years Patterson was a watchman at the government gate yard. Patterson belonged to Seymour Lodge in Port Dalhousie and held the position of Master in 1872 and 1876. Robert Patterson died in Port Dalhousie on 21 November 1902 and is buried in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Port Dalhousie, Ontario
