Mary Denton and her husband John Denton, Senior, lived in Port Dalhouse, Ontario. In the 1881 Census John Denton's occupation is listed as tailor. John died in 1887 at the age of 74. Mary Denton died at the age of 90 in 1905. Mary and John Denton are buried in the St. Andrews Presbyterian / United Cemetery in Port Dalhousie.
