A photograph of senior BME church trustees Harry Harper and Helen Smith with Rev. Robert Blackwood as they hold a heritage plaque for the church. The Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee presented the plaque which states "The British Methodist Episcopal Church Circa 1855 only surviving Black Community church in St. Catharines".
