A set of two photographs taped together that show the horse trough at the Lincoln County Humane Society and the sign above it. The first photograph is a close-up of the trough filled with snow. The second photograph shows the sign above the trough that reads "This old horse trough was placed originally on St. Paul St. W. near the Merritt Monument by the Lincoln County Humane Society in 1930. It was saved from the wrecker by the Humane Society Auxiliary and brought to its present location in 1967."
