Catharine Wiley (1791-1863)

The tombstone of Catharine Wiley.

Catharine Wiley born on 16 December 1791 and lived in St. Catharines with her husband William Wiley and their son Nelson.  Her maiden name and the names of her parents are unknown at this time.   

Catharine died on 28 October 1863 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 12 days.    Her obituary appeared in the St. Catharines Constitutional on October 29, 1863.   Catharine is buried in the Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines. 

In 1865 William Wiley married a widow, Esther Smiley.  William died on 19 May 1872 at the age of 85 years.
