Catharine Fallen [Phalen?] Doyle (d. 1851)

Very little is known about Catharine Doyle.  Her remains were re-interred in Lakeview Cemetery in Thorold after first being interred in the Holy Rosary Church Cemetery upon her death. 

Her tombstone also records the burial of her husband, Edward Doyle who died 9 July 1883.  The Doyle's were Irish.    

In 1877, Catharine and Edward's son Michael married Elizabeth Shewman [Schuman], daughter of Charles Schuman and Ellen Clark, of Port Robinson.  No other descendants of Catharine Fallen [Phalen?] and Edward Doyle are known.

On 17 January 1877 Michael Doyle, son of Edward and Catharine (Fallen) Doyle married Elizabeth Shewman (sic) at the Holy Rosary Church in Thorold, Ont.
