Catharine Cunningham (d. 1855)

Catharine Cunningham was the daughter of Patrick and Bridget Cunningham.  She died 27 February 1855 at 12 years of age. 

The Cunningham family tombstone in Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines pays tribute to a large number of family members.  Due to significant environmental deterioration of the monument, it is difficult to ascertain the exact date of death for Catharine Cunningham.  However, the Victoria Lawn Cemetery transcription publication produced by the OGS [Ontario Genealogical Society] gives her death date as 1855.  It is likely that this family was of Irish origins.  

Buried at this same location are: Patrick (d. 1854), Bridget (d. 1856) and Peter (d. 1874).   Additional Cunningham family members, all with year of death given as 1855, are:  Richard, Bridget, Patrick, Elizabeth, Martin, Annie, James, Catharine.
