The updates and improvements at DeVeaux Hall continued. George Lloyd's company worked to replace elbow pipes and lengths of stove pipe. Work was done on the boiler and a cover was put on the chimney. The range was moved and fitted and the water pipes in the kitchen were also redone. A copper tea kettle was purchased to add a finishing touch to the renovated kitchen.
