Description
Military Land Grant, Sir Peregrine Maitland to Samuel Peters Jarvis of Captain Heward’s Flank Company in the 3rd York Regiment of York. The grant is for 300 acres of land in Ekfrid Township, County of Middlesex, London District, 29 November 1827. signed by Maitland as Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada; William Beverly Robinson, Attorney General; Stephen Heward, Auditor General of Land Patents (Jarvis’ Captain during the War of 1812); and Duncan Cameron, Secretary. The grant has a hard seal of Upper Canada attached.
