Niagara Falls and River

With the advancement of technology, the potential uses of the river for power generation and industrial applications became apparent.  Industry rapidly developed along the shores of the river.  The resulting water diversion, pollution, and ecological disruption caused some to advocate for the preservation of Niagara Falls and to restore the condition of the river to its natural state.   The following collections reflect the work of some who studied and brought awareness to these issues.
