Introduction

Pages from a travel album showing some of the places visited during a trip to Niagara.  The traveller from Massachusetts has written in the album "Beautiful scenery all through Queen Victoria Park--thrilling to be on English soil and strange...so near home".

A photo album in Brock University's Archives documents the travels of a Massachusetts woman and her friends to Rochester, NY, Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Maine, in 1929-1930.  Several pages of the album are devoted to her trip to Niagara and the sites she visited, including Queen Victoria Park, the Spanish Aero Car and Queenston Heights Park.  Her photos provide a glimpse of how Niagara looked at that time and capture some of the landmarks that no longer exist.
