Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls from Prospect Point to Horseshoe Falls

Niagara Falls has been a popular tourist destination since the 19th century.  People would come from far and wide to experience this natural wonder of the world.  Most were in awe of the great cataract.

John Edminster, a Baptist Missionary who travelled to Niagara Falls in 1850, described it as "this stupendous work of nature; where the Great God gathers a Continent of water in his fist and dashes it down till the earth trembles".
