Cover for AMM's 2002 manuscript (excluding final section) of The Way The Crow Flies, previously named Spitfire (related to Madeleine's description via her father). There are scrawled notes on the side, some of which I can make out. These include: "NB. Phonecall with Simon [...] labour at camps/dora" "froelich knew about Oskar [from the...]" "pg. 558-62 Jack and [simon] ... (I can't figure out most of this)" "Simon should introduce "[...]" race not Jack. Jack should only worry..." "Madeleine + Froelich [...]?"
