Jeremiah Bewley Adams was born a free man in Catonsville, Maryland to Samuel Adams and Martha Hill. Jeremiah was a small boy when his family settled in Bronte village in the mid 1800s. Jeremiah became a significant landowner and farmer in Bronte.
