Dr. Stanley Deeks and Dr. James A. Gibson stand before the billboard advertising the newly chosen location for Brock University. The location chosen from many options in the centre of Niagara Region . It was conveniently located on top of the Niagara Escarpment overlooking the city of St. Catharines in the north, with Thorold to the southeast, Niagara Falls to the east, and Welland to the southwest.
