A photograph of the prime ministers and their staff meeting in London for the end of World War II celebrations in May 1946. Dr. James A. Gibson is in the last row, fifth from the left. Of the photograph, Dr. Gibson in writing to the editor of bout de papier, says "Photographs of the period depicting me in action are virtually non-existent, partly because Mr. Mackenzie King didn't believe in having "junior staff" photographed: there was a curious fixation about "anonymity" which I never quite understood."
