Ray James Appliances, 1963-1992 - This store first opened at 246 Portage Road in 1961. It moved to the Stamford Green Plaza in 1963 and eventually the store moved to the Town and Country Plaza in 1993. Ray James originally owned the store, but sold it to Scotty Maxwell in 1974.
