Athletics
Physical activity was very important at Loretto. As you can see from the photographs, skating, archery, tennis and basketball were enjoyed. Other forms of activity were: badminton, baseball, riding and tobogganing. Swimming was added after 1925 as the school had its own pool. Loretto engaged in field days and inter-Loretto competitions. Volleyball was another sport that was added to the roster. Loretto had its own cheerleaders and a pep club to help bolster school spirit.
