Description

Question 1: What are your feelings about wearing masks? Do you feel that masks should be mandated by government officials? Why or why not? Are these measures effective against the spread of COVID-19?
Masks should be optional, they should not be mandated. Data shows that covid has an extremely high survival rate. Those that are vulnerable should definitely be protected, just like we would with the regular flu. The CDC itself and popular medical journals show that masks are not effective for the general public.

Question 2: The Canadian - U.S. border continues to be closed to non-essential travel. Is this a good or bad decision for Canada? When should the border be reopened fully?
It may be ok to have the border closed to non-essential travel, Herd immunity would be good to have happen before excessive traveling betweem countries

Question 3: Niagara has seen a large number of visitors from other regions of Ontario on weekends and holidays. This has helped businesses and tourism. But it has also led to crowded venues and the potential spread of COVID-19. What can be done to balance safety and economics?
We need to allow things to get back to normal, the media needs to share appropriate facts and no more fear mongering. Let small businesses stand a chance at making it through this.

Question 4: Schools from kindergarten through university/college have reopened. How has the Ontario government handled the return to school? Are schools safe for students, teachers and staff? Is online learning a good alternative?
Online learning is not a good alternative for many children. It may be good for some but not all. Masks are in appropriate for children and should have no place in a classroom. Children and teachers are at no more risk then previous years, there is no such thing as perfectly safe environment in this world unfortunately.

Question 5: Do you think that there will be a significant second wave in Canada? Why?
No, back in the spring there was drastically less testing being done, and now with much more testing we are around the same numbers as spring. The media is sharing misleading information. If you look at percentages it is much lower. The second wave is media inspired.

Question 6: Most people had to cancel plans for a special event, vacation, or activity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What did you miss out on? Would you be comfortable returning to these within the next year?
We have not missed out on anything major, besides basic rights and freedoms that used to be an important part of Canadian life. I would be comfortable with returning to regular life immediately

Question 7: Where do you get your news and information about the pandemic? What sources do you find trustworthy?
We get our information from a wide range of sources, and always do the best we can to confirm information. We cannot trust most public media outlets as they are misleading and outright lying. If you look at real facts and information appropriately anyone could see this is being blown way out of proportion

Question 8: When do you think the pandemic will subside and we can return to some kind of normal life?
Once Herd immunity is given a chance, along with the media allowing the truth so that people can stop being wrongly influenced. Masks and vaccines will most likely just make things worse.
