Question 1: What are your feelings about wearing masks? Do you feel that masks should be mandated by government officials? Why or why not? Are these measures effective against the spread of COVID-19?
Yes, masks are a must!!! If you can't wear a mask, you should be wearing a shield! Anyone can say they have a health issue or claustrophobic and can't wear a mask. It's these people that are putting the rest of us at risk.

Question 2: The Canadian - U.S. border continues to be closed to non-essential travel. Is this a good or bad decision for Canada? When should the border be reopened fully?
Keep it closed. I miss over the border shopping but my health is more important.

Question 3: Niagara has seen a large number of visitors from other regions of Ontario on weekends and holidays. This has helped businesses and tourism. But it has also led to crowded venues and the potential spread of COVID-19. What can be done to balance safety and economics?
Make masks mandatory outdoors in highly trafficked and populated areas. Clearly people are not social distancing.

Question 4: Schools from kindergarten through university/college have reopened? How has the Ontario government handled the return to school? Are schools safe for students, teachers and staff? Is online learning a good alternative?
I think the government has put good protocols in place but the teachers and students clearly are not following them, considering how many cases are showing up in schools. Parent had 7 months to prepare their children with proper hand washing and how to wear a mask and clearly some just didn't bother. Your kid won't keep a mask on? You had 7 months to train them.

Question 6: Most people had to cancel plans for a special event, vacation, or activity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What did you miss out on? Would you be comfortable returning to these within the next year?
I went through 5 years of fertility treatments, 3 rounds of IVF, and the loss of a daughter. I was finally pregnant with a healthy baby and was not able to have a baby shower. She was born in July and have had to limit visitors, who must wear masks. Best thing to ever happen to us and we can't even show her off.

Question 8: When do you think the pandemic will subside and we can return to some kind of normal life?
2 years from now. My newborn will think only Mommy and Daddy have faces. Everyone else has a mask.
