Description

Question 1: What are your current feelings about the COVID-19 pandemic?
I'm pretty calm about it. I feel like things are cautiously getting back to normal, though I'm still not a fan of wearing face coverings in public. I wear them if required, but not if they're not.

Question 2: Have your opinions about the virus changed over the past twelve weeks? How?
Vastly.
The first month I was in a panic, really worried and now I'm pretty calm. I don't think it's quite as dangerous as I initially thought. I still follow all the guidelines regarding gatherings and social distancing, but overall my life is slowly returning to normal.

Question 3: As stores and public places have started to open up, does this make you relieved or more fearful? Why?
I'm still not convinced that there won't be a second wave. I wouldn't say I'm fearful, but I still do curtsied pick ups wherever possible. I do my groceries once a week at the smallest grocery store I've found. I'm lucky to run into 10 people there when I go.
I don't think I'll be venturing out too much. I'm basically sitting at home with my toilet paper seeing how it goes.

Question 4: What have been the primary ways that you have protected yourself from COVID-19? Isolation? Masks? Gloves? Hand sanitizer? How did you decide?
By just being smart. We stopped going to crowded places towards the end of February and made a once a week grocery trip. Since then it has just been work (we were essential), groceries and occasional trips to the drug store if something was needed. I haven't gone anywhere else.
We bough face coverings and honestly have never used them. I've always practised good hand hygiene and cleaning so that didn't have to change much.
I'm just aware of my surroundings and smart.

Question 5: If an effective vaccine is developed within the next year and becomes widely available, would you get the vaccine? Why or why not?
Yep. I'd be the first in line. I have said since the beginning that my biggest fear wasn't getting Covid, it was having it and not knowing. I'd feel terrible if I made anyone of my friends and family ill, or caused their death. I'd get the vaccine to protect those around me more than myself.

Question 6: Have you been tested for COVID-19? How was that experience?
Thankfully, no.

Question 7: How much longer are you ready to live with regulations and limitations? When should things get back to "normal"?
I'm an introvert so my life really hasn't changed that much. I do miss occasional trips to the malls and a bite to eat out, but overall my life is the same. I'd live with the regulations as long as they were in place and there was a threat.
