Description

Question 1: What are your current feelings about the COVID-19 pandemic?
I feel people are not taking things as seriously as they should. Although I do want to have things open, and have a 'normal' life again, I fear people are in denial. I like staying at home though, so I'm okay with that part.

Question 2: Have your opinions about the virus changed over the past twelve weeks? How?
I'm more worried as people are less worried. Why the heck can't everyone wear masks?
I am certain we don't know enough about the virus yet.

Question 3: As stores and public places have started to open up, does this make you relieved or more fearful? Why?
Fearful. I liked curbside. I am SO Angry people are not wearing masks. If a store won't insist on it, I believe they will lose business for not looking out for the community's welfare. I have 40% lung capacity and global heart damage and asthma. If someone says they can't wear a mask, they are making it up. If I can, they can. (But years ago people fought wearing seatbelts and not smoking in restaurants, so there ya go)

Question 4: What have been the primary ways that you have protected yourself from COVID-19? Isolation? Masks? Gloves? Hand sanitizer? How did you decide?
Isolation, masks if I have to encounter anyone. I never touch things without a paper towel or bag on my hand that i can dispose in another bag properly. I quarantine and sanitize anything that comes into the house. I haven't seen family. I stay 6 ft away from anyone I encounter (further if possible)

Question 5: If an effective vaccine is developed within the next year and becomes widely available, would you get the vaccine? Why or why not?
Yes, definitely. Although, I don't want it to be discovered by the USA if Trump is still in.

Question 6: Have you been tested for COVID-19? How was that experience?
No. But I'm fairly certain I had covid in fall. I've never been so sick.

Question 7: How much longer are you ready to live with regulations and limitations? When should things get back to "normal"?
As long as it takes to get vaccine.

Question 8: Have you thought about how you will interact in the community once the pandemic has passed? What will you do the same or different day to day?
I will never handshake again. I've always been a bit of a germaphobe, and I will always be vigilant.
