Question 3: Twelve months in, what have been the most challenging aspects of the pandemic? What could have been done better?
Navigating changes in the LTC sector, dealing with the restrictions. More transparency at government levels. Inconsistencies caused people to question the severity of the virus and resulted in noncompliance with public health measures. Vaccine delay in Niagara region despite many active outbreaks in LTC in the region.

Question 4: Silver linings - What positive experiences had you had that may not have happened without the time at home due to the pandemic - new hobbies, home renovations, new relationships, etc.?
-cooking meal kits at home/trying new recipes, opportunities to connect virtually with loved ones.

Low vaccine uptake resulting in the pandemic continuing. 70 and under age groups not following the rules and spreading covid- possibly overwhelming the Healthcare system (especially as they are not yet eligible for vaccination).

Have extended family gatherings again.
