At work with my colleagues watching the PMs announcements and wondering how it would impact the sector (LTC ).

Navigating changes in the LTC sector, dealing with the restrictions. More transparency at government levels. Inconsistencies caused people to question the severity of the virus and resulted in non compliance with public health measures. Vaccine delay in Niagara region despite many active outbreaks in LTC in the region.

-cooking meal kits at home/trying new recipes, opportunities to connect virtually with loved ones.

Low vaccine uptake resulting in the pandemic continuing. 70 and under age groups not following the rules and spreading covid- possibly overwhelming the Healthcare system (especially as they are not yet eligible for vaccination).
