Answer 1 - Masks:
I disagree. I don’t feel they are effective, and if anything give a false sense of security as everyone comes a lot closer. Also for the numbers, I don’t think it’s justified. I don’t do this for any other illness. I don’t want to for this one.
Answer 2 - Borders:
This doesn’t seem to affect me, if the numbers are worse there and it doesn’t affect the economy to close then I suppose it’s the right idea.
Answer 3 - Visitors:
If they are touring, and the business's are making money then we shouldn't be fighting it.
Answer 4 - Schools
Online is not sustainable. I have three young children, I need the schools to be open so I can work. They need to be social.
Answer 5 - Second Wave:
Probably because they will make it into one.. testing has gone up due to cold and flu season, helping detect every Covid case where as the summer didn’t have that and testing was lower. People are only being tested now because we are being forced to for our children to return to school (and us to work), not the case in the summer.
Answer 6 - Missing Out:
I didn’t miss out on much, a concert or two. I would love to return to anything if we are ever allowed.
Answer 7 - Sources:
Media, which I dislike. Health Canada stats as posted on social media. I don’t really trust any of it honestly. I can’t tell what is real or altered anymore.
Answer 8 - Return to Normal:
Hopefully in the spring once flu season is over and everyone stops assuming all others are infected.
