Although we have all been limited to what we can and cannot do, I am forever grateful that I live here in Canada. Our politicians care and are doing what they belief is in the best interest of all Canadians. Some believe this has been blown out of proportion and perhaps it has but we will never know. Had our leaders not taken this approach our number of cases could be much higher or maybe even lower but I’m willing to work with the approach they have taken. Better to be safe than sorry.

I wouldn’t say I feel either relieved or more fearful. I’m not opposed to the changes that have occurred as a result of COVID-19. If these changes make us better human beings - more respectful of others and their personal space than this is well worth it.

Our household made a conscious decision to limited only one person going out to pickup our essentials. Initially we just made sure that there was hand sanitizer and gloves in the car for use during that outing. As the weeks have progressed we have opted to wearing masks in public places that appear to be crowded. We have elderly parents that rely on our support so it is important that we minimize our risk as much as possible.

Absolutely! Whether it will be effective for this COVID or not, it may mean the difference in protecting myself from the next “flu” that comes about. Better to have a little in the reserves than nothing at all.

As long as it takes. Things will never be the old normal but I am hopeful that all of these necessary steps will make for a better community, province, and country.

Cautiously guarded until we are certain we have beat this. Would hate for a second more destructive wave to hit.

Continue with regular exercise outdoors, grounding myself in nature and reaching out more regularly with family, friends and neighbours.
