Answer 1 - Work/School:

I stopped working since March 11 which is hard because without my job. I will not be able to keep afloat and survive.

Answer 2 - At Home:

We are spending more time inside the house. Cooks a lot. We get to hang out more.

Answer 3 - Concerns:

That there will be more casualties. I hope not. Physically, socially, psychologically and financially everyone is affected. I hope we all get through this

Answer 4 - Infected?:

No

Answer 5 - Media Coverage:

The media is doing a great job. What I mean is the media here in Canada. I know in some countries there has been a lot of fake news and it leads to confusion and panic to their people.

Answer 6 - Leadership:

I don’t really know what is going on in the local government unless I read news online. I usually read about the updates on the medical side. I see more on the provincial and federal side. The local, provincial and federal government are doing the best they can to share the information to the people. I got laid-off so I applied for EI. I already got the financial aid given by the federal government.

Answer 7 - End?:

No one knows when this will end. The federal government’s prediction is we will be at top of the curve by the end of spring and the first wave of the virus will probably slow down by end of summer. Fall will get colder again so the virus might spread again. All of us are affected. The challenges we are facing right now is that there is still a lot of people who does not follow social distancing. If we do not follow the rules and guidelines given, there will be more casualties and we will not be able to go back where we are before it happened. I know after this pandemic moat of the usual things we do on a regular basis will change. Right now I see people change their behaviour towards other people. We all have to do our part in the community and make sure to thank everyone that are doing their beat to contain the epidemic. We also have to thank the frontline workers, cashiers, postman, garbage collector, people who work on the agriculture, farmers, fisherman’s. Everyone who keeps working so we can put food on the table. We all thank them. If another pandemic happens, I hope the government will be more prepared and act faster so we will not suffer like what we have right now. I hope the next generation will learn from this epidemic and not make the same mistake.

Answer 8 - Thoughts:

I pray that this COVID-19 pandemic will end and as I always say. “We all pray for Canada”. I also pray that the entire globe will get through this and I pray to the Lord that He will heal our land.
