Niagara Cattle Show & Fair - 1847
Fall is often the time where people come together at fairs to present and appreciate the efforts of agriculturalists. Here are two broadsides for the 1849 Niagara District Agricultural Society's Cattle Show and Fair held in St. Catharines. One broadside is a marked-up draft from 1847, the other is the official poster for 1849.
These came from the Boomer Family Business Collection in the Brock University Archives. Businessman A.K. Boomer was the secretary for the Society.
