Mildred Houston lived at 5 Ann Street in Port Dalhousie with her parents Captain George and Lucy (Newell) Houston. She was one of three children, with sister Mary and brother Edward Newall. Mildred later married George Wilfrid Riley and had a daughter Mary Patricia.
